The commencement ceremony of KG graduate schools for the autumn semester of academic year 2011 was held at the Central Auditorium on the Nishinomiya Uegahara Campus on March 16, with attendance of 520 students who completed their courses. A total of 45 students were conferred doctoral degrees.
In his congratulatory speech, President Takutoshi Inoue said, "Obtaining a degree is not the ultimate goal of your life. I want you to consider the completion of your course here as the next first step in moving forward in your life. Reverend Walter R. Lambuth, KG's first chancellor said, 'I shall be constantly watching.' We will also be watching you continue on your way."
