2024年7月11日（木）および12日（金）の二日間の日程で、吉林大学経済学院より教員3名（代表：邵学锋経済学部副院長）および学生16名が、国際学部学生との交流のために上ケ原キャンパスに来学しました。

11日（木）には、寳劔久俊・国際学部教授および志甫啓・国際学部教授のゼミ学生との交流イベントを英語にて実施し、主に日本の関西地域と中国東北部の経済の紹介をそれぞれ行ったのち、グループに分かれ個別のテーマにおいてセッションを行いました。
セッションの中では、それぞれの学生生活で注力していることや流行、食べ物などについて話したり、吉林大学の学生からお土産をもらったりと、大いに盛り上がりを見せました。

12（金）には、国際学部との今後の交流について議論を行いました。また、森康俊学長とも面会し、本学開学100周年記念時に吉林大学より寄贈された屏風の前で記念撮影を行い、1982年から続く両校の国際交流の更なる発展に向けて、今後も継続し協力していくことを確認しました。

On July 11th and 12th 2024, three faculty members(represented by Vice Chancellor Shao Xuefeng of School of Economics) and 16 students from Jilin University in China visited the Uegahara Campus for an exchange program with students from the SIS.

On the 11th, an exchange event was held in English with students from the seminars of Prof. Hisatoshi Hoken and Prof. Kei Shiho, where they introduced the economies of the Kansai region of Japan and Northeastern China, respectively, which was followed by sessions on different topics in small groups.
During the session, the students talked about their own student life focuses, trends, food, etc., and some KGU students even received souvenirs from Jilin University students, making an event even more fun and vibrant.

On the 12th, the faculty members had a discussion on the further collaboration between the two schools. The delegation also had a meeting with President Yasutoshi Mori, and took a picture in front of the byobu(folding screen) which was donated by Jilin University on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of KGU's founding, and agreed on continuing to cooperate in the further development of international exchange between the two universities, which has continued since 1982.
