国際学研究フォーラム講演会『クルドの語り部デングベジュ』開催 /International Studies Research Forum Hosted Event on Kurdish Culture
5月31日（火）、上ヶ原キャンパス図書館ホールにて、国際学研究フォーラム講演会『クルドの語り部デングベジュ―郷土の声とイメージ』が開催されました。
前半はデングベジュの文化的な歴史やその役割に迫ったドキュメンタリー映画『地図になき、故郷からの声』（東京ドキュメンタリー映画祭短編部門グランプリおよび大阪観客賞受賞作）の上映、後半は、この映画の監督である中島夏樹監督、クルド民謡・民族音楽研究者のセルダル・ジャーナン氏、イスラム教の一派、アレヴィーの研究者である米山知子先生（本学国際学部特別研究員）による鼎談と、演奏家でもあるジャーナン氏によるパフォーマンスが行われました。
会場は国際学部の学生を中心に満席で、補助席を出すほどの盛況となり、非常に注目度の高いテーマであることが伺えました。
On Tuesday, May 31, the lecture event "Voices and Images from the homeland of Kurds" was held by the International Studies Forum at the Uegahara Campus Library Hall.
The first half of the event was a screening of the documentary, "Voices from the homeland," which won the Grand Prix in the short film category and the Osaka Audience Award at the Tokyo Documentary Film Festival. The film focuses on the cultural history and role of Dengbêj (Kurdish singing storyteller). The second half featured a discussion among the film's director Ms. Natsuki Nakajima, Mr. Serdar Canan, a researcher of Kurdish folk songs and ethnic music, and Dr. Tomoko Yoneyama, a research fellow at the SIS studying the Alevi sect, as well as a performance by Mr. Canan, a musician himself.
The venue was filled, mainly with the SIS students, and even additional seats were provided, indicating a great deal of attention to the topic.
