加藤雅俊・経済学部教授が「国際共同研究交通費補助」（「雇用の柔軟性が賃金と生産性に与える影響に関する実証研究」）の研究成果を国際シュンペーター学会（2024年6月）で報告します。
本研究は、企業における非正規雇用が生産性を反映する賃金に対して、どのような影響を与えるかについて明らかにするものです。特に、その効果がイノベーションの環境（知識の累積性）によって産業間でどのように異なるのかについて分析しています。その結果、非正規雇用の労働者の「賃金ペナルティ」は、知識累積性の低い産業より知識累積性の高い産業において大きい（そして持続的に大きい）ことが示されました。

Masatoshi Kato, Professor of Economics, will present his research funded by the "Grant for the International Joint Research" ("Empirical Study on the Impact of Employment Flexibility on Wages and Productivity") at the International Schumpeter Society Conference (June 2024).
This study explores the effect of labor flexibility on wages, which reflect productivity. In particular, we analyze how the effect varies across industries depending on the innovation environment (cumulativeness of knowledge). The results show that the "wage penalty" for non-regular workers is larger (and persistently larger) in industries with high knowledge cumulativeness than in industries with low knowledge cumulativeness.
