Professor Kyoko Fujii of the School of Education Presents “The Meaning of Having Children in the Future among University Students” at the 2026 Annual Conference of the Korean Psychological Association

Professor Kyoko Fujii, School of Education, co-authored a presentation entitled “The Meaning of Having Children in the Future among University Students” at the 2026 Annual Conference of the Korean Psychological Association, which was held from August 20 to 22, 2026, in Seoul, Korea. The 2026 Annual Conference of the Korean Psychological Association marked the 80th annual meeting of the Association and was held under a cooperative agreement with the Japanese Psychological Association. The conference brought together researchers from a wide range of fields in psychology, including educational, developmental, social, and clinical psychology, and provided opportunities for international academic exchange. Researchers from Japan, Hong Kong, Europe, and other regions participated in the conference and exchanged ideas across diverse areas of psychology. In particular, the International Plenary Symposium on “Advancing Co-prosperity: Individuals and the Collective” introduced leading research on cultural psychology, morality, and well-being. Perspectives on well-being as embedded in cultural and social contexts, as well as on the relationship between individuals and communities, provided valuable insights for considering future directions in research.
