IEFL Peter Chu (School of Biological and Environmental Sciences) Gives Presentation on Human Interaction in the Age of AI at the International TESOL Union Conferenceof International Conference in Singapore

IEFL Peter Chu (School of Biological and Environmental Sciences) gave a presentation on the continuing necessity of human interaction in the age of generative AI at the International TESOL Union (ITU) Conference, which was held from July 30 to July 31 in Singapore. This year's iteration of the ITU conference was organized to address how human-AI partnerships can be approached and managed to better inform human-centred ELT. More than one hundred researchers from nearly 30 countries gathered to give presentations and hold discussions. There were informative and enlightening exchanges of knowledge and wisdom and inspiring talks from well-known researchers in the field.
