Professor Shinsuke Shigeto of the School of Science Gives Invited Presentation on Raman Imaging of Microorganisms at 11th Taiwan International Symposium on Raman Spectroscopy
Professor Shinsuke Shigeto of the School of Science gave an invited talk on the applications of Raman imaging to microbiology at the 11th Taiwan International Symposium on Raman Spectroscopy and TARS Summer Camp, held in Taipei and New Taipei City, Taiwan, from July 14-16. The symposium series aims to promote interaction and the exchange of ideas between Japanese and Taiwanese researchers in the field of spectroscopy and foster the next generation of spectroscopists. Approximately 90 researchers and students from Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and the United States gathered to present their research and engage in discussions. The symposium and summer camp featured lively discussions on the fundamentals and applications of molecular spectroscopy, including bioimaging and studies on 2D materials using orbital angular momentum light.
