Professor Ryo ODA of the School of Humanities Gives a Research Presentation at CMLF 2026, Held at the University of Artois in Arras, France
The 10th World Congress of French Linguistics (Congrès Mondial de Linguistique Française 2026, Arras) was held at the University of Artois in Arras, France, from July 6 to 10. Approximately 130 papers that had passed a prior peer-review process were presented in parallel sessions. Despite the record-breaking heatwave in France, the congress provided an opportunity for lively discussions among researchers from around the world.
On Friday, July 10, Professor Ryo ODA of the School of Humanities gave a research presentation entitled “Alternation between the prepositions en and de before a material noun: collier en perles vs. collier de perles” (Alternance des prépositions en / de devant un nom de matière : collier en perles / collier de perles).
The papers presented at the congress are available online.
