Professor, Naoya Hase, School of International Studies gave a presentation on Assessing Executive Working Memory in L2 Communication through CELP-Com Test at the 60th RELC International Conference, which was held from March 9, 2026 to March 11, 2026 in Singapore.
60th RELC International Conference aims to <foster a collaborative environment for language teachers and researchers to address global, local, and "glocal" challenges that impact classroom teachers and researchers. This presentation took place in the form of workshop led by three presenters where the audience was encouraged to participate in various activities and discussions. By comparing the data obtained through CELP-Com test which was created by four researchers including the three presenters and those obtained through two types of well-known psychological experimental tools, the audience was given the chance to think about the nature of inhibitory function of executive workig memory of human brain. Various activities were followed by questions and answers session.
