Research project “Empirical Studies on Green Innovation,” conducted by Professor Masatoshi Kato (School of Economics) and his colleagues under University Joint Research, has released its research findings.
Professor Masatoshi Kato (School of Economics) and his colleagues have been conducting a project titled “Empirical Studies on Green Innovation,” funded by the University Joint Research, and several research outputs have been published in international academic journals.
Within this project, multiple studies have been carried out. As part of these outcomes, a paper by Professor Kato and his co-authors titled “Flexible labor, innovation regimes and the erosion of the Japanese model: Evidence from the Basic Survey on Wage Structure” was published in Structural Change and Economic Dynamics.
In addition, a study by Professor Keisaku Higashida (School of Economics) and his colleagues, titled “Carrying Carbon? Negative and Positive Carbon Leakage With International Transport”, was published in the Journal of Economics & Management Strategy.
Furthermore, a study by Professor Shuhei Nishitateno (School of Policy Studies) and his collaborators, titled “Hydrogen Infrastructure, Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles, and Indirect Network Effects: Evidence from Japan”, was released as a discussion paper by the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI).
There are also several ongoing research projects, and further results are expected to be published in due course.
