Professor Kazuko Takahashi, School of Engineering, gave a presentation on the detection of dangerous driving event from the video data using logical reasoning at the 18th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence (ICAART2026).
Professor Kazuko Takahashi, School of Engineering, gave an oral presentation entitled "Detection of Dangerous Driving Event Using Qualitative Spatial Reasoning from the Video" at the 18th International Conference on Agents and Artificial Intelligence (ICAART2026), held at Marbella, Spain from March 5 to 7 in 2026. The purpose of ICAART is to bring together researchers, engineers, and practitioners interested in the theory and applications in the areas of Agents and Artificial Intelligence and the scientific goal is to stimulate them to develop new ideas for further progress. This time, it was held in a basically in-person style. There were three keynode lectures, about 300 oral presentations and additioncal poster presentations. They were processed in parallel sessions from 9:00 to 18:30 every day, which envoked an active discussion and interaction between the participants. Many presentations include the current hot topic of Large Language Model, but topics from quantum computing and social science were also found, which shows the topic of this field was becoming more widespread.
