IEFL, Thomas Peet, Language Center Gives Presentation on "EFL WRITING IN THE AGE OF AI" at CamTesol

IEFL, Thomas Peet, Kwansei Gakuin from the language center, gave a presentation on “EFL WRITING IN THE AGE OF AI” at the 22nd CamTesol conference which was held from the 5th of February to the 8th of February in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. CamTesol is a conference which is held annually and attracts researchers and educators from across the globe, providing a setting to connect and disseminate research. Over 1,800 researchers from over 40 different countries regularly attend CamTesol. For my presentation, I presented my research concerning EFL students’ use of AI in writing assignments. The presentation went quite well, with many teachers commenting on their own experiences with AI in the classroom, which was highly beneficial for my further research projects regarding AI use in the classroom.
