Kate de Veas, associate lecturer from the School of Policy Studies, gave a presentation on "Adapting Assessment for the Outdoor EFL Lesson" at EuroCALL, the European Conference for Computer Assisted Language Learning, which was held from September 8 to September 11, 2026 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The annual EuroCALL conference showcases numerous inventive, powerful and cutting-edge ways to integrate technology such as AI into language learning, and the pitfalls and negative effects of using these tools incorrectly.
