Prof. Hans Peter Liederbach Gives Presentation on Watsuji, Hegel, and the Anthropocene at International Association for Japanese Philosophy 9th Annual Conference.

Hans Peter Liederbach, School of Sociology, Professor gave a presentation on Watsuji, Hegel, and the Anthropocene at the International Association for Japanese Philosophy 9th Annual Conference, which was held from July 27-29, 2026 in Istanbul, Turkey. International Association for Japanese Philosophy is an association that carries out research on Japanesenphilosophy on an international level. 20 from more than 10 countries gathered to give presentations and hold discussions. To begin with, two keynote-addresses were held by Prof. Mayuko Uehara and Yasuo Deguchi, both renowed researchers from Kyoto University. Besides, all presentation were on a high level as were the following discussions.
