The 17th Annual Conference of the Japan Chapter of the Asian Society of International Law was held in Umeda, Osaka.

The 17th Annual Conference of the Japan Chapter of the Asian Society of International Law, organized by Prof. Yasue MOCHIZUKI, School of Law and Politics, was held at Osaka, Umeda on June 28, 2026. The annual conference brought together approximately 110 scholars from 13 countries. Under the theme of "Securitisation and International Law in Asia", the conference featured a plenary session and four parallel panels. Selected through an international call for papers, the presentation addressed emerging issues and recent developments in the field, generating lively and substantive discussions among participants.
