Keisaku Higashida Gives Presentation on "Gaming for Cohesion: A Study on Integrating Refugees Through Virtual Intergroup Contact " at University of Bari Aldo Moro.

Keisaku Higashida (Professor, Faculty of Economics) presented a paper titled “Gaming for Cohesion: A Study on Integrating Refugees Through Virtual Intergroup Contact” at the 15th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE & SUMMER SCHOOL “ECONOMICS OF GLOBAL INTERACTIONS: NEW PERSPECTIVES ON TRADE, FACTOR MOBILITY AND DEVELOPMENT,” held at the University of Bari Aldo Moro in Bari, Italy, on September 8–9, 2025. His presentation was titled “Gaming for Cohesion: A Study on Integrating Refugees Through Virtual Intergroup Contact.”

Each year, this conference brings together researchers in international economics and development economics to present their work. Over 70 participants from more than 10 countries, primarily from within the EU, attended the event. A total of 49 papers were presented, and lively discussions took place with discussants and other participants. In the Keynote Lecture, Prof. Paola Conconi (University of Oxford, UK) presented cutting-edge research under the title “Trade Within Multinational Boundaries.”
