Linguacultural Citizenship and Glocal Competencies: Reimagining Language Policy in the Japanese University Classroom

SIL, Robert Higgins from the Language Centre gave a presentation on “Linguacultural Citizenship and Glocal Competencies: Reimagining Language Policy in the Japanese University Classroom” at SEACE 2026, which was held from February 5 to February 9 in Singapore at EXPO. SEACE is organised by IAFOR Research Center.  The conference was interdisciplinary in its aims and objectives, bringing 150 scholars, researchers, professional practitioners, and students from both within the region of Asia and outside of the region.
