Club Activities in KGHS

Baseball

KGHS focuses on club activities as an important element in our education.
We have had a lot of achievements since its foundation.

The majority of students participate in the club activities and throughout the program work to achieve their goals. As a result, students learn to develop their mental and physical strengths and can truly appreciate what hard work and motivation can lead to. This also gives meaning to their high school experience.
KGHS students have the opportunity to be involved in many different sports and cultural clubs.

Brass Band

KGHS sports club has had many brilliant achievements not only prefecture-wide but nation-wide. The American football team has won 17 times in the national championship. The baseball team has won the national championship in both 1920 (summer), and 1928 (spring). In 2009 they also won the Hyogo Championship and participated in the National Championship at Koshien Stadium.

As well as the American football and baseball clubs, we have clubs playing national level such as rugby, basketball and swimming. The American football, soccer, rugby, and basketball teams take part in the overseas expedition.

KGHS cultural clubs such as Glee Club, Brass Band, ESS,Mathematics and Science Studies are also recognized nation-wide.

KGHS provides the opportunities for all students to expand their possibilities both academically and in the sports program.
