Graduate School of Human Welfare Studies

Exploring humanity and society broadly and deeply
Concerned with the increasing complexity and gravity of today’s society as manifested in various social issues and problems, the Graduate Program of Human Welfare Studies was established in April 2008. The Graduate Program trains practitioners and researchers to solve today’s social issues and life challenges requiring highly advanced knowledge and skills. The Master’s course builds upon the undergraduate education by developing further professional expertise. Subsequently, the Doctoral course builds on the two-year Master’s course to enhance the scholarly pursuit of new knowledge, and advance the development of academic rigor and innovation.
