ACE Student Conference 2018

Nicholas Musty and seven students from the School of Economics, and one student from the School of Business Administration, took part in the ACE Student Conference at Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts on December 8th and 9th.

Students joined as problem solvers, and worked with senior managers from three large companies, to work on solving problems to each company's problem. These problems included making electronics products for an ageing population, global expansion in the rail network, and increasing the number of foreign customers in the transportation industry. Problems were presented back to company managers on the second day.

The conference took pace entirely in English, and all participants performed extremely well.
