Nicholas Musty from the School of Economics and five students spent June 22-24 taking part in "JEMUN" (Japan English Model United Nations/日本英語模擬国連) at Kindai University in Osaka.
After two months of preparation, students were able to enjoy their roles as country delegates and journalists. One delegate's role involved creating solutions to problems using Lego blocks. The journalist was responsible for compiling a record of the conference in a magazine, while the other three participants represented Mexico, Thailand and Syria in the writing of a UN resolution.
They joined more than 340 students from universities and high schools of multiple nationalities. Congratulations to all!
