Our educational creed of “A Social Approach" does not mean that legal education should be limited to teaching job skills, but rather that we should turn out people who use law as a way to gain insights into social phenomena. The School has 2 Departments: the Department of Law, which teaches people to contribute to society by thinking in legal terms, by cultivating their legal expertise and decision-making ability, and the Department of Political Science, which produces people who are capable of being leaders in any situation. These 2 departments comprise 6 courses that get students started on the career path of their choice. All courses adopt a ‘stairway’ pattern, in which students progress naturally from an introduction to basic principles, through theory, to practice. Students are thus provided with practical skills founded on a firm theoretical basis.
