lecture on drug
On January 11, the School of International Studies hosted a lecture on drug abuse prevention by Mr. Norikazu Takada, assistant police inspector of Hyogo Prefectural Police Headquarters. A total of 300 students from the School of International Studies attended the lecture and learned about the dangers of drug abuse.

The School of International Studies hosted this lecture, because all students of the School are basically required to participate in a study abroad program and are likely to encounter illegal drugs overseas.

Mr. Takada referred to dangerous pharmacological effects of illegal drugs and harsh punishments for drug users and smugglers. "If you casually abuse illegal drugs, you may end up in an irreversible situation," he warned students.

KG will implement various other measures to prevent drug abuse in the future.
